Welcome to Texas Animal Hospital! We are proud to be a small, privately owned veterinary practice dedicated to providing compassionate, affordable care for the pets who mean so much to you. Since 1979, our clinic has been part of the Alvin community, building lasting relationships with the families who trust us with their beloved pets.

In October 2025, we changed our name from Veterinary Hospital of Alvin to Texas Animal Hospital, marking a new chapter in our clinic’s history. While our name has changed, our commitment to our patients and their families remains the same. Dr. Galvin continues to lead our privately owned practice, and our team is still here to provide the personalized care and familiar faces you know and love.

We offer a variety of veterinary services, including wellness exams, preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, and hospitalization when needed. Our doctors and team members are committed to continuing education to keep up with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine, allowing us to provide the best possible care for your pets.
